Music matters — but many educators don’t feel confident using it.
We all know how valuable music is for children’s learning, language, and wellbeing.
But maybe you or your team feel unsure where to start.
You might worry you’re not musical enough, or that you don’t have the right resources.
The good news?
Meaningful music-making doesn’t have to be complicated.
Hi, I’m Anne Belcher, founder of Branch Into Music.
For over 15 years, I’ve helped hundreds of educators and families feel confident using music in simple, practical, and joyful ways.
I’ve taught in schools, led music programs in early years services, I lecture at Federation University, and have presented for organisations such as Early Childhood Australia (ECA), Early Learning Association of Australia (ELAA), Community Early Learning Australia (CELA) and Playgroups Victoria.
What drives me most is this: too many adults believe they’re “not musical.”
But music lives in every one of us — and when educators feel confident to use it, children thrive.
The free mini-lesson above is your starting point.
In this short, practical session, we discussed:
🥁 How to make and use simple DIY instruments with your children;
🌱 Easy ways to weave music into your everyday routines;
🧠 Why you don’t need to be a “musician” to make a lasting impact.
I hope you're feeling inspired, equipped, and ready to make music part of your daily practice.
